Rite of Christian Initiation of adults

RCIA at Our Lady of Lourdes
The community of Our Lady of Lourdes invites you to experience our life together as a Christian family. You are welcome to join a
group of adults who want to explore the Catholic way of life -- a journey guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the teachings,
traditions and practices of the Roman Catholic Church.
This process, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), begins with an inquiry phase, and then moves further into the heart of
our Faith. This is a time given over to questions and observations about the Catholic Church and the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures.
Each session is topical, but is tailored to the needs and questions of the participants.
The RCIA sessions take place Sundays, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.in Our Lady of Lourdes Parish hall. An introductory session will take place on
September 19, 2010.This will be an opportunity to meet the RCIA team members and others who are interested in the process, and to
learn more about Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, & the RCIA methods and resources we use.
If you would like to learn more about the Catholic faith, (whether you are interested in becoming a Catholic or not) please call Fr. David
Young at 419-634-2626 for more information, email oll@wcoil.com to register, and/or join us on Sundays, at 7:00 p.m., beginning
September 19, in our parish hall (located adjacent to the Church).
